DIARY OF INK
AFTERCARE

Aftercare Policy
Caring for your tattoo properly is key to ensuring it heals well and maintains its quality.
At Diary of Ink, we provide every client with personalized aftercare guidance at the end of their session. It is your responsibility to follow these instructions carefully-improper care may result in fading, infection, or the need for additional paid touch-ups.
Tattoo Aftercare Instructions

- Leave the bandage on for 2-4 hours after your session (or as instructed by your artist).

- Wash your hands, then gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and mild, fragrance-free soap.

- Pat dry with clean paper towel----do not rub.

- Apply a thin layer of recommended ointment (such as Aquaphor or a tattoo- specific balm).

- Switch to a light, fragrance-free lotion if you haven't already.

- No tight clothing that may rub against the tattooed area.
